CPP Shows Solidarity with Mates in Construction
CPP was proud to be a Silver Sponsor at the 2024 Annual Charity Luncheon.
The Honourable Mark Butler, Minister for Health and Aged Care, inaugurated the event with a poignant address emphasizing the critical role of mental health initiatives like MATES in safeguarding the well-being of individuals in South Australia. Minister Butler commended MATES in Construction for its relentless efforts in suicide prevention and emphasized the collective responsibility in fostering a supportive environment.
CPP reaffirmed its steadfast support for Mates in Construction (MATES) by participating as a silver sponsor at the prestigious 2024 Annual Charity Luncheon. The event, held at the esteemed Adelaide Oval, witnessed a record-breaking attendance of over 300 individuals representing various organizations from the construction sector.
Joining the discourse, Minister for Health and Wellbeing, Chris Picton, highlighted the importance of fostering an environment where seeking and offering help is encouraged within the construction industry.
The Annual Charity Luncheon serves as the cornerstone fundraiser for MATES, enabling the organization to continue its vital programs across the construction and allied industries.
CPP remains dedicated to the cause, organizing MATES GAT (General Awareness Training) sessions internally to promote mental health awareness within its team. The GAT Training, conducted on-site, educates workers about mental health challenges, fosters open dialogue, and equips them with practical tools to extend support.
