Apprenticeships offered
- Electrical Apprenticeship
Certificate III in Electrotechnology Systems Electrician (High-Voltage). - Transmission Lineworker Apprenticeship
Certificate III in ESI – Transmission Overhead.
Supported by MEGT and Apprenticeship Support Australia, CPP Apprentices undertake a full-time role under the relevant state-based Enterprise Agreement, as part of a four-year program.
Throughout our program, you will rotate through a variety of work environments and locations to acquire essential skills, deepen your industry knowledge, and maximise your growth opportunities.
Intake occurs at the end of each calendar year, with recruitment commencing in late October.

About the Program
CPP’s Apprenticeship Program is designed to provide apprentices with the training, mentorship, and hands-on experience necessary to achieve nationally accredited trade qualifications.
The Dave Evans Apprenticeship Program has been named in recognition of Dave Evans, a former CPP employee. Dave was employed by CPP for 18 years and held roles as a Project Manager, Construction Manager, Regional Manager, Operations Manager and CPP’s President, before taking up the role of Chief Operating Officer with Quanta Services Australia in 2023.
A qualified electrician himself, Dave was passionate about developing talent, creating apprenticeships, and reflecting our commitment to fostering opportunities for the next generation at CPP. Dave was always looking to take on more apprentices, to both build capability at CPP, and within our industry. The program would not be where it is today without his significant contribution.
