Overview
Designed for crucial roles like transforming wind-generated energy to grid-compatible voltage, stabilizing energy supply, and distributing electricity, the station enhances the wind farm’s efficiency in delivering clean energy to meet regional renewable goals. The substation consists of:
- 4 x Siemens main transformers 220/33kV
- 2 x Control buildings with 33kV switchboard and protection panels
- 2 x 220kV Filter Banks and primary plant
- 2 x 220/28kV Reactor Plant Transformers and 3 complete reactor plant Bays including control containers and water-cooling systems.
CPP Scope of Works
- 85km Underground HV Cable, fibre and earth reticulation
- Installation and termination of 22 x HV Junction Boxes and 20 x HV In-line Cable Joints
- Earthing of 122 Vestas turbines
- Installation of 122 Vestas RMU’s including HV Terminations and fibre terminations
