Consolidated Power Projects Australia Pty Ltd (CPP) is a standalone Australian electrical engineering company wholly owned by Quanta Services, Inc. CPP specialises in providing project engineering and construction services for Electrical Infrastructure from Medium Voltage (MV) through to Extra High Voltage (EHV) installations throughout Australia.
CPP provides a complete turnkey solution from conceptual design through to final commissioning by bringing together experienced engineers, designers, project managers and construction personnel to take full responsibility for the entire project. CPP has extensive experience in delivering high voltage electrical infrastructure projects for the power utility, industrial & resource, rail and renewable energy sectors.
Since it was established in 1996, CPP has delivered more than 250 projects throughout Australia for customers such as ElectraNet, TransGrid, Powerlink, Ausgrid, Endeavour Energy, Essential Energy, Jemena, CitiPower, AGL, Pacific Hydro, Roaring 40s, Senvion (formerly REPower/ Suzlon); Goldwind; Leighton Contractors, ABB, Siemens, Tenix. Major projects include Musselroe Wind Farm, Snowtown II Wind Farm, Gullen Range Wind Farm, Clements Gap Wind Farm, Hallett Hill Wind Farm, the Portland Wind Energy Project, Waterloo Wind Farm, Macarthur Wind Farm Design, North Brown Hill Wind Farm, the Snowtown Grid Connection, the Redhill Grid Connection, Belalie substation (Hallet 4 Grid Connection), the Mokota Switching Station, the Tungkillo Switching Station, the Cherry Gardens Substation re-build, and Tamworth substation re-build.
